North Kyushu Trip using the Japan Rail Pass

Although the Japan Rail Pass ticket prices increased last October 2023,  I still recommend to use it depending on your planned itinerary in Japan.  It is economical if it is maximized by having multiple and long journeys within the active number of days  of the ticket. Last June of 2023, I travelled to Fukuoka for 6 days and bought the JR Unli pass via Klook that cost only around 10,000 Yen or 70 Dollars round-off equivalent.  In my local currency, it is about 4,000 Pesos. This is the 3 days pass on North Kyushu covering north of the island extending to central in Kumamoto and on the west is Nagasaki. It also covers Oita in the east side. Random Tips On Your Japan Trip

First time traveller in Japan? Here are things  I have learned and I wish I knew, before I went to Japan: Luggage storage are available in major stations. Cost varies depends on the size and storage hours.  There are counters with assistance, and some are self-assisted or coin lockers.  Always keep left. Japan's car drives right hand and so goes with the traffic road, sidewalks and pedestrians. So stay left in the escalators and walk in the right if you want to go ahead. It's cheaper to ride a bus or train. Don't ride a taxi. There are always bus and train stations nearby. Check Japan's tranportation hub  for more details.   Always load your transportation card .  Else you will need to prepare the trips' fare in exact amount in cash. Drop it in the fare box.  They have change machine, but not all larger bills are accepted.  When riding the bus, you have to tap first or pay first.  Don't forget to tap again when you drop off the bus.
